Overview
Artsmith is built on the premise that the world is better served when everyone has equal opportunities. In all its forms, art has an ability unmatched by other methods to allow people of all ages to develop empathy for others and to imagine the world in previously unseen ways.
Goal
Create a social presence to attract volunteers in the Bronx who can donate time to help children of low-income families gain exposure to the arts.
Approach
I conducted market research to identify market segments and determine potential volunteer candidates for Artsmith. In doing so, I found that young professionals like myself are deeply passionate about social issues and would like to donate time but may not know where to begin. In a technologically advanced world, many people may have the heart to contribute to humanitarian causes, but personal obligations may not allow the flexibility to make long-term commitments. I have curated quality marketing content to inform how one can volunteer with Artsmith. Additionally, we created paint-and-sip fundraising events for general buzz.
